Residential low Slope roofing

Does your house have Low slope roof?

Not sure what your options are?

We can help.

Nowadays most new residential homes are built with what is called a “high slope”. A high slope is considered anything greater than a 2% grade.

High slopes are great for shingle applications as shingles are designed to shed water and a high slope allows them to function optimally.

There are many different types of shingles available in many different colors allowing many options for people who have these high slope roof designs.

What about those who are interested in or currently have a low slope design roof? What options are available to these people?

Typically there are two main options:

  • 2 ply membrane Modified Bitumen (Torch On)

  • Single ply membrane (TPO, PVC, EPDM)

At CSL roofing we specialize in mechanically fastened TPO membrane systems.

This single ply system has many advantages over 2 ply modified bitumen:

Safer Installation Process: Unlike modified bitumen roofing, which involves risky torches and heat, TPO uses a cold process application. Imagine the peace of mind you’ll have knowing there's zero risk of accidental fires during installation.

✅Proven Hurricane Protection: Our hurricane-rated TPO system has never been blown off or damaged by wind forces—ever. Feel secure knowing your roof is built to withstand the most extreme weather.

✅Tailored Durability for Newfoundland’s Harsh Weather:
Our TPO system is specifically designed to withstand Newfoundland’s harsh weather conditions—UV rays, storms, and aging. With a proven record of zero failures, invest in a roof that stands the test of time, providing unmatched durability and peace of mind.

✅Worry-Free Longevity: TPO typically lasts 2-3 times longer than modified bitumen. No more frequent roof replacements or ongoing repairs—just long-term peace of mind.

✅Focus on Your Life, Not Roof Maintenance:
With TPO, you can focus on the important things in life without the headache of constant roof issues.

✅A Safer, Smarter Investment:
Modified bitumen is an asphalt-based product just like our roads. While roads crumble and need frequent repair, your roof won’t.
